Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Horizon Fitness Vacuum Cleaner.
Power Cord Inspection
Inspect the power cord regularly. If the power cord is damaged, contact Horizon Fitness for a replacement. Ensure that the power cord is not placed underneath the elliptical trainer or in any other area where it can become pinched or cut.
Post-Use Procedure
After each use, turn off the elliptical trainer using the on/off switch located on the back of the console, and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. This helps in preventing electrical issues and prolongs the life of the machine.
Weekly Cleaning Routine
Every week, turn off and unplug the elliptical trainer. Move it to a remote location, then clean or vacuum any dust particles or other objects that may have accumulated underneath the elliptical. Wipe the entire machine and guide rails with a damp cloth, ensuring no solvents are used.
Guide Rail Maintenance
If roller wheels appear to be leaving particles on the guide rails, this is considered normal wear. To maintain performance, simply wipe off the roller wheels and guide rails with a damp cloth.
Noise Troubleshooting
If the elliptical trainer makes a squeaking or chirping noise, check all power cord and wire connections. Remove the console and verify that the console cable is attached properly, ensuring that the cable is securely inserted into the console.
